The BOC / Henney's Cider Classic championships annual event at Shelsley Walsh proved to be as unpredictable as ever, with the now traditional rainshowers making the practice & timed runs very tricky.

A mostly dry track for practice one was followed by a total drenching for practice two. Timed run one was on a dampish but rapidly drying track, Final timed run was on an almost dry track with several Handicaps being broken. The class was for this year all seeded together in the entry list - it made for a fantastic sight with around a quarter of the paddock (maybe more) made up of our championship. All credit to the MAC for changing things on the day (at Philip Staders suggestion) to get the various catagories running together to help mitigate against the changable weather and the possible mix up of results it could have brought. I think for us at least this was a big improvement on previous meetings.
