In the Single seater class Les Buck extended his championship class lead with another handicap win. A fine drive by Peter Thurston netted second place points and the overall meeting FTD award - great result!. Third was Grant Cratchley in his beautiful Brabham just beating Briony Serrell who had an eventful weekend , surviving a very high speed spin on Saturday with , thankfully!, only minor nosecone damage.
Philip Stader returned to the Sportscar class for this meeting and once again proved the fastest driver / car combination with a good 51 second run in tricky conditions. Handicap results were Chris Jones with a good time just under his previous best in the Fairthorpe Electron , Steve Phennah in the MGB roadster in second followed by John Newton's TVR.
2017 Overall Champion Mike Henney was fourth on the day in his Ginetta G15 , a very good season long effort.
2017 has been a great season for the championship with more drivers than ever before.
Many thanks to all the Marshals, Officials , Volunteers & helpers from all of us!
