Round 7 of the Fassi Classic Championship took place at the BARC's Harewood Hillclimb. Unfortunately the event only attracted a tiny field from our series , maybe a first glimpse of times starting to get tighter financially with travel costing significantly more also combined with peak holiday season?.

Three drivers scored points in the Saloon car class with the Fassi entered Fiat 500 sandwiching the A35 of Brian Ashley. Leigh finished in front this time on handicap with David in third.

Father and son team of Tim and Ben Cross contested the sportscar class with Tim just pipping Ben on handicap by a tenth of a second.

Thanks to the drivers that made the trek to Yorkshire! Hopefully a return to Loton , Shelsley & Prescott will see the field a lot stronger in the near future.
